Welcome to The Kimbap

I had a friend that always shared her mother's kimbap with me in grade school. This place brings me back to those times. My favorite is the fish cake kimbap.

Stopped by after work because I was craving Gimbap. I ordered the kimchi & beef options. Both were very delicious! Kimchi wasn't spicy & had a nice crunch to it. The beef was ground beef which I had never had before. I've usually had bulgogi beef so this was a bit of a change for me. However I was not disappointed ! Definitely has a home style feel/ taste to it! The service is nice too the ladies working are very mindful. Highly recommend if you're in the area. (Parking is a bit scarce though.)

Love the selection and authenticity of flavors that you can order - I ordered 3 for my first visit (Kimchi, Spam, and Sausage). They were well packaged to be enjoyed on the go or at home. You cannot stay and eat there as they are takeout only. The food comes out fast and the service is friendly. I definitely want to try the other dishes too, it all looks so promising! Parking can be tricky in the area, but you can certainly get lucky with street parking and a short walk over. The closest lot is valet only, so you've been warned!

Simple yet delicious!!! The rice had a really nice texture (held together but not mushy), veg and pickled were crunchy and sesame flavor was very fragrant. The only thing I will say is that the spicy octopus was SO spicy like next morning flaming booty hole hot IG: Spillingthe.beans

This is my favorite Kimbap spot. I've traveled 350+ miles just for my kimbap fix here several times now. I kid, I kid! Well, I sort of kid. I really do travel that far but it's because I'm passing through town and often I stop here for my road trip snack (and then some). I've tried a variety of Kimbap's here. At the moment, my favorite is the tuna. I've also really enjoyed the mushroom one. I did try the spicy chicken but whooooWhEeEe, it is not for the faint hearted. I can hold a decent level of spiciest but this one was probably my max. Felt SO good! Haha! What I love about their Kimbap is that they lead with the filling and use the rice as a thin barrier between the seaweed wrapping and the rainbow core of the Kimbap! Masterpiece. Can't wait to go get me some more...!

It was so good we visited every morning we were in LA! We loved the spicy pork kimbab and tuna mayo kimbo!! The spicy ones are REALLY spicy so be prepared but if you love spice I highly recommend. As a Korean native, it's hard to find good kimbab as they usually skimp on the fillings or the rice is not cooked well. But here it was so delicious and for a good price too!!! Must visit again!

Great clean food delivered quickly! The cashier was quick and friendly. I asked for her recommendation for the cold noodles and she said chewy. They're perfectly coated in the sweet and spicy sauce, and the spice level is perfect as it burns your tongue and lips in a way that makes you wanna keep eating. The Kimbap is perfectly made and totally stuffed, just one roll would've entirely filled me up. Great place for Korean staples that won't break the bank.

My friends and I were trying to find a place to grab a quick dinner in LA one day and we opted for this place. I'm so glad we did because this was one of the yummiest things I ate during the trip. We got the 20 piece double beef roll / spicy pork roll / steamed dumplings XLB / boiled dumplings. We opted for the dumplings since we weren't sure if just the rolls would be enough and I'm glad we did because these dumplings were so addictive! If you're looking for a place for a quick bite this is the place to go! I recommend making a phone order prior to going - we were able to get in and out really quick since the parking situation where it's located isn't the best.

I came with my friend to The Kimbap on a Friday night. We were able to find parking nearby, but the adjacent parking lot is super small and fills up quickly. The restaurant itself was empty since they're only doing to-go orders--we got our order about 10 minutes after placing it. We ordered the Spicy Pork Kimbap and Spicy Rice Cake. The kimbap was nicely flavored and adequately spicy. Each ingredient tasted fresh and well prepared. However, each piece fell apart as soon as I picked it up. The roll came with 10 pieces, and the pieces were on the larger side. Overall, it was solid kimbap, especially for the price. The tteokbokki was very average; it had good flavor but was kind of expensive for what you get. It only had rice cake and fish cake, and there was way too much sauce for the amount of food provided. I would really just stick with their kimbap. The cashier was friendly, and the price point for the kimbap was good. I'd stop by again when I'm looking for something quick and affordable!

Kimbap will knock your socks off with lots of flavors that rock! They walk the walk and talk the talk when it comes to being the tastiest of the block. It's kinda like a Pringle, once you pop you can't stop! I ordered two of my favorites on the go because unfortunately they only have take out and no inside dining allowed to enjoy the circular morsels. First up their avocado that came with picked radish, fish cake, carrots and egg. Who knew such a small morsel could pack up a delicious punch! The next set was their mushroom and this came with pretty much the same thing but some pieces seem to have more mushrooms than the others or maybe I'm just a mushroom hog! LoL! Besides kimbap they offer other items but I was just here for that. Service was good but the parking can be a pain since it's in such a small plaza. Other than that it's a tasty stop shop. That's my take, Peace out.
